Hindi Diwas at Witty Kids was a day filled with joy, colour, and creativity, as our youngest learners at Borivali and Malad campus celebrated the beauty of India’s national language. The event, marked with excitement and laughter, helped children explore the magic of Hindi in ways that were playful, engaging, and meaningful.
The highlight of the celebration was the “Dress Me Up as Hindi Swar” activity, where the little Wittians came dressed as Hindi vowels or as their friends representing different sounds. Each child spoke a few lines about their chosen “swar”, adding both charm and learning to the occasion. Their delightful costumes and cheerful presentations brought alive the richness of Hindi in the most endearing manner.
Children also participated in fun-filled games and activities designed to connect sounds with symbols, laying the foundation for Hindi literacy in an enjoyable way. Matching activities, rhymes, and storytelling sessions ensured that the children could grasp the language through play-based experiences. These joyful methods helped instil a love for Hindi from an early age.
The celebration was not just about Hindi—it was also a reminder of the multilingual environment at Witty Kids. Alongside Hindi, children are gradually introduced to languages like French, Mandarin, and Japanese, giving them a chance to explore communication beyond borders. Yet, through Hindi Diwas, they were reminded of the importance of embracing their national language and taking pride in their roots.
It was a proud moment to witness the confidence and enthusiasm with which the children participated. Their innocent yet thoughtful efforts reflected the importance of nurturing cultural pride and creativity together. Teachers guided the activities in ways that encouraged expression, curiosity, and imagination, making the day both educational and enjoyable.
Hindi Diwas at Witty Kids was more than just a celebration—it was a foundation for love of language and culture. It encouraged children to connect with their heritage while also developing essential communication skills. With every smile, performance, and activity, the little Wittians embraced the spirit of Hindi Diwas wholeheartedly.
As the day came to an end, one thing was clear: the youngest members of the Witty family are already growing into proud, confident learners, ready to celebrate not only Hindi but all languages of the world, while holding their cultural identity close to their hearts.
