The Global Annual Leadership Summit (GALS) 2025 brought together a distinguished gathering of leaders, educators, and experts from across 64 campuses in 11 countries, united under the Global Schools Group umbrella. 

Held on Jan 24-25, 2025 at the OWIS Digital Campus and GIIS SMART Campus, Singapore, the two-day conference explored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, focusing on its impact on teaching methodologies, operational efficiencies, and personalised learning experiences.

This year’s theme, ‘AI in Education,’ underscored GSG’s commitment to leveraging emerging technologies to redefine the future of learning. Senior leaders, functional heads, and experts from across the global network convened to brainstorm, ideate, and collaborate on AI-driven strategies that will shape the next era of education.

The event featured multiple panel discussions and focused group sessions, tackling some of the most pressing challenges in education today. Expert-led dialogues explored AI’s role in student engagement, curriculum development, and institutional efficiency, offering valuable insights into the future of tech-driven learning.

Industry leaders such as Edmund Tan, a seasoned AI specialist and data scientist, Pranav Kothari, CEO of Educational Initiatives (Ei), and Sangeeta Oak, AI Head at Ei, were among the distinguished speakers. They shared key strategies on integrating AI into education and provided perspectives on the responsible and effective adoption of AI-driven learning models.

A key highlight of the summit was the GALS 2025 Awards Ceremony, which recognised schools that have demonstrated excellence in innovation, sustainability, student experience, and financial operations. The awards celebrated the remarkable achievements of institutions leading the way in future-ready education.
