Student Leadership Shines as GIIS East Coast Campus Celebrates a Spooktacular Halloween

On October 31, the GIIS East Coast Campus embraced the spirit of Halloween with a series of engaging, student-led activities that combined fun, creativity, and collaboration. Organised by the Student Council, the event provided an excellent platform for students to demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and artistic expression &mdash; reflecting the core values of the GIIS 9 GEMS framework.

Senior students participated in the Best Decorated Classroom Competition, showcasing their creativity through innovative and thematic classroom designs that captured the festive Halloween atmosphere. The Scavenger Hunt for junior students added an element of excitement, as classes worked together to solve clues and complete challenges. Complementing these was a Halloween Quiz open to all grades, encouraging teamwork, quick thinking, and healthy competition.

The celebration stood out for being entirely conceptualised and executed by the Student Council, highlighting the leadership and organisational skills of the student body. Through their efforts, the event not only brought joy and vibrancy to the campus but also reinforced essential life skills such as collaboration, responsibility, and communication.

The day concluded with an atmosphere of accomplishment and unity, reflecting GIIS East Coast Campus&rsquo;s commitment to nurturing holistic development and student-driven learning experiences.
