Students of GSG schools do well in IBDP 2024 exams

UPDATED: Students of international schools under the Global Schools Group came out with flying colours in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 2024, results for which were announced earlier this month.

GIIS SMART Campus in Singapore came up tops among all 12 schools under GSG, with one student emerging as the World Topper with 45/45 points. Srinidhi Sundar topped her cohort, of which 64.2% scored 35 grade points and above, showcasing their academic excellence and exemplifying their exceptional dedication and intellectual prowess. The school average was 36.04 against the world average of 30.32. 

Student Mayukh Ghosh from One World International School, Nanyang Campus - Singapore was the highest scorer of that school bagging a Perfect Score of 45/45 points. The school average was 34.

Dwight School Seoul, another international school under GSG, witnessed their class of 2024 average 33, while their highest scorer was Wanee Kwon who scored 43/45 points. 

Chinese International School Manila (CISM) from The Philippines and One World International School Sarjapur, India also had good results with their highest scorers emering with 41/45 points each. Minsung Kang 41/45 and Amodi Kulkarni did their schools proud. Lastly, GIIS Tokyo school's top scorer was Gabriel Brard who scored 40/45, with the school average coming up to 30.3 and 60% of the cohort scoring above 30 points.

"This is a great achievement for schools of GSG," said Group CEO Mr Rajeev Katyal. "Their 2024 cohort has scored tremendously well, living up to expectations, and upholding the legacy of the institution of scoring well in IBDP exams," he said. "I am proud of the students, and wish them all the best for a brighter future".

Many students who have passed the IBDP exams have already been offered placements in some of the most reputed universities around the world including Oxford, St George's, London School of Economics, University of Melbourne and many others. 

IBDP is a strong point of curricula offered by GSG schools with their teachers being well-qualified to impart the programme on the cohorts.
