Students from schools under the Global Schools Group (GSG) have once again demonstrated their exceptional skills and dedication, achieving remarkable results in the IGCSE 2024 exams, which were announced on August 13, 2024.
At the Global Indian International School (GIIS) SMART Campus Singapore, 11 outstanding students emerged as school toppers, securing A* grades in all subjects they attempted. Among these achievers, nine students earned an impressive 9 A* grades, while two others secured 8 A* grades. Over 80% of students attained A* and A grades, reflecting their unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
Similarly, GIIS East Coast Campus, Singapore also celebrated significant success. Standout performances came from Manekjyot Singh and Siddhant Subramanian, who have achieved 9 A* grades, and Advay Soni, who secured 8 A* grades. Over 85% of the cohort scored A* and A grades, further showcasing the students' dedication and hard work.
The IGCSE cohort from One World International School (OWIS) Nanyang Campus, Singapore, also made impressive strides. 51% of the cohort scored overall A* and A grades, with 89% achieving A* to C grades. Notably, two students secured an impressive 7 A* grades, and three others achieved 6 A* grades.
GIIS Tokyo students excelled in this year’s IGCSE examinations, with an average score of 73.28% and 14% of students securing A/A* grades across all subjects. Special recognition goes to Simona Taira, the school topper, who attained an outstanding score of 91%, and to Priyanshi Shinghal for her commendable 89.1%.
The GIIS Kuala Lumpur (KL) Campus cohort also delivered significant achievements, with 21% of students securing 8 A* and 7 A* grades across all subjects. The campus demonstrated exceptional performance, with over 93% of the cohort achieving A* and A grades. Noteworthy achievements include Mavinth Harissh and Shavetha Gopi, who scored 8 A* grades.
Witty International School Mumbai also celebrated outstanding achievements. A special mention goes to school topper Anay Gupta, who achieved a remarkable 96.40%, including a perfect score of 100/100 in Mathematics and top scores in five subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, and English Language.
Students from the Regent International School Malaysia campuses also excelled in the exams. At the Klang Campus, Khoo Zhe Kai emerged as the school topper, scoring 11 A* grades. The Regent Kuantan Campus celebrated toppers Azizul Hezri Bin Zulkifli and Cheng Ray Ann for their remarkable achievement of 8 A* and 1 A grade each. At the Sungai Petani Campus, Loh Ken Yit secured the school topper position with 8 A* and 1 A grade.
Year after year, students under the Global Schools Group continue to deliver outstanding performances in IGCSE examinations.
