Dear Colleagues, Students, and Members of the Global Schools Group Community,
It gives me immense pleasure to present the inaugural edition of the GCEE Research Centre Newsletter, a milestone publication that celebrates the remarkable journey of research development and academic excellence across the Global Schools Group (GSG).
Since its establishment in September 2023, the GCEE Research Centre has remained committed to fostering a culture of inquiry, innovation, and evidence-based educational practice throughout our global network. What began as a vision to strengthen research engagement among educators and students has evolved into a vibrant and growing ecosystem that supports scholarly collaboration, professional development, and knowledge creation across multiple countries and regions.
Over the past two years, we have witnessed significant achievements that reflect the collective dedication of our educators, school leaders, students, and partners. From the successful implementation of research training programmes and academic writing workshops to the establishment of the Global Journal of Educational Thoughts (GJET), the Research Centre has continued to create meaningful opportunities for learning, discovery, and scholarly contribution.
One of our proudest accomplishments has been the growing participation of students in authentic research activities. The publication of student-led research in GJET demonstrates our commitment to nurturing young researchers who are capable of critical thinking, problem-solving, and contributing new knowledge to the wider educational community. Equally encouraging is the successful launch of the Global Schools Research Club Initiative, which has already established a network of student research clubs across our campuses worldwide.
As we look ahead, the future is filled with exciting possibilities. The upcoming Global Conference of Educational Thoughts 2026, the continued expansion of research training initiatives, and our efforts to strengthen international research collaborations represent important steps toward positioning GSG as a leading global educational organisation that values research, innovation, and lifelong learning.
This newsletter serves not only as a reflection of our achievements but also as an invitation for every member of our community to participate actively in this journey. Research is not confined to universities or academic journals; it is a powerful tool for continuous improvement, informed decision-making, and educational transformation.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all educators, students, school leaders, researchers, and collaborators whose contributions have made these achievements possible. Your commitment, enthusiasm, and dedication continue to inspire the growth of a strong and sustainable research culture across our global campuses.
As we embark on this next chapter, let us continue working together to advance knowledge, foster innovation, and empower future generations of learners, researchers, and global thought leaders.
I hope you enjoy reading this inaugural edition and look forward to your continued support in advancing the mission of the GCEE Research Centre.
Warm regards,
Dr. Rathin Khandhadia
Director, Global Centre for Education Excellence (GCEE)
