Three talented students from the Global Schools Sheykhar Ravjiani School of Music recently showcased their musical skills on stage with renowned composer and singer Sheykhar Ravjiani. The memorable performance took place at the Vishal and Sheykhar Concert on October 4, 2024, held at The Star Theatre, Singapore, in front of an audience of 3,000.

Ananya Sanoob from GIIS SMART Campus Singapore, Devika Ankulge from GIIS Balewadi Campus India, and Fatima Zehlin from GIIS Abu Dhabi Campus, UAE, captivated the crowd with their impressive performances. Each student delivered a unique musical piece, with Devika singing the Hindi classic "Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar," Ananya mesmerising the audience with the Tamil song "Malargale," and Zehlin performing the English hit "All of You."

The audience responded with enthusiastic applause, singing along and cheering for the young artists. The students expressed their excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to perform alongside Sheykhar Ravjiani, making it a night to remember for both the performers and the audience.

The Vishal and Sheykhar Concert marked the duo's return to live performances in Singapore after a nine-year hiatus. The event featured a high-energy mix of their greatest hits, drawing the crowd into an unforgettable musical experience.

Global Schools-Sheykhar Ravjiani School of Music (GSSRSM) is a collaboration between Global Schools Group and the renowned musician, and serves as a hub for aspiring musicians to develop their musical abilities. Mentored by Sheykhar, these young artistes are trained to hone their inherent talent and learn new ones.  

Ananya Sanoob, Devika Ankulge and Fatima Zehlin have been students of Global Schools Sheykhar Ravjiani School of Music and have been under Sheykhar’s guidance for over 2 years. This experience will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact and inspire them to continue pursuing their musical dreams. It also sets a powerful example for their peers, showing how dedication to one's craft can lead to remarkable accomplishments.
